So LONG--Summer

So Long to the triple digit heat of the Southern Nevada Deserts. Our Sun City Mesquite homeowners had a luau to wave goodbye to summer 2008. The page design is by Kay Elfin, E-Scape and Scrap.net.

Sun City Sunbreros Rojos

So NOW the Sun City Sunbreros Rojos are OFFICIAL. We had our first Hoot, and the Induction of the esteemed officers of the New Mesquite, Nevada--Sun City Sunbreros Rojos on September 18th.

All the digitally scrapped pages are made with elements and fun stuff from Kimmi Stewart and Rina Kroes kit "Le Chapeau Rouge" sold at 3Scrapateers, and by Kathryn Estry, in her kit "Cute Stuff-Red" who sells at GottaPixel.
The font on the pages is HoboStd, and The King and Queen Font, and the silver alpha letters were designed by Rina Kroes and are in "Le Chapeau Rouge."

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta (2006)

This is a picture of me at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta a couple of years ago about this time. I had SO much fun creating this vest that I wore all the time we were at the Fiesta. See other Balloon Fiesta pages in the October 2006 archives.
I used Karen Watkins 'Whatjareckon' Participation bonus kit for this layout. (Digital Craft Cottage) As usua, I found this not-previously-scrapped photo when I was looking for something else, and just had to stop and play awhile. Thank you, Karen. (SO now! I don't remember what I was looking for!!) Design for this layout inspired by Rina Kroes Jiffy Stax (modified.)

Grand Tetons and Yellowstone Album

I have just uploaded a little album from our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks to Shutterfly. I hope you enjoy the slide show!
Everything in this book (and on the covers) was designed by Rina Kroes, available in her September, 2008 Grab-Bag, and her Villa Rusticana kit. The font I used throughout was Pegsanna.

I took this photo, which remains one of my very favorites of Fall Color Memories during a visit to the Joplin Missouri area, October 2006. The layout is done with Julie Mead's Carol's Sunflower kit, as well as her "Meant to be Frames", found on E-Scape and Scrap.net
