Vellum for Fun

I created this "vellum overlay" using a blurred and faded scale of the image of this road to the Mountains in Monument Valley. The edge technique is a styled stroke, and the background paper is by Laura Boetto in her kit Carmel Apple found at the Digital Craft Cottage.

Sun City Sunbreros Rojos Fun

Celebrating the one year anniversary of our Rec Center in Mesquite NV--here's a display we shared in the "meet the Sun City Groups" area. All day we'll answer questions and talk to folks about what this lifestyle's all about.

I made this page with Cute Red by Kathryn Estry.

The Path

"Our wretched species is so made that those who walk on the well-trodden path always throw stones at those who are showing a new road." ~Voltaire
François-Marie Arouet, aka, Voltaire (The French Enlightenment writer) lived 21 November 1694 – 30 May 1778--Have times changed much along our paths of life?

This layout uses Sweet Made's pretty elements and papers from Winter Mint. The Photo is taken along the "Riverwalk" path at Zion National Park. Font is Heather

Languishing

This page was fun to do too,--sorta off the wall, but the embellishments, papers and ideas that are in Ashalee Wall's "Falling in Love" kit, just begged to have Chester jumping through the hoops and s t r e t c h i n g out in the warm autumn afternoon. Ashalee Wall is the featured Premier Member's kit designer at Scrappers Guide this month, and she and Sweet Made own this store: http://ashaleewall.com/ or http://www.sweetmade.net/

Beaded fun

This was just plain FUN to do. I used Sweet Made's incredible beads from her new Winter Mint kit, and a background by Joanne Brisebois, in her Harvest 1912, a Scrapper's Guide Premier kit in October.
No journaling on the web-version.

Mesquite Photography Club

This is a pan-shot of an area along the Riverwalk Path, looking back to the Great White Throne.

My first Photoshoot with the Mesquite Photography Club, led by professional Photographer, Bob Stone--took the group for a late afternoon shoot in nearby Zion National Park. Here are two photos from that day. Remember to click on them to view a larger image.

Other images from this photoshoot are on the Flickr site
