Unpredictable March

20 Days ago we were spa-ing and hiking and enjoying the prettiest days in the desert nestled among 80 degree temps and cool whispers of wind at night as March came in like a soft little lamb.
Then as March went out like a lion, major winds shut down Airports, blew over trees, and sailed patios awnings down the street and in one case--a shed full of equipment was blown into a pool.  The winds blew through followed by powerful rains, and when the last day of March dawned the mountains that ring our community were snow covered.  Don't forget to click on each picture to see a larger version.
                                                                            Hey!
                                       This is the DESERT
                                                           This is MARCH
                                                                     Is this Nature's APRIL FOOLS?
