The Spa Experience

The Spa and salon experience at the Sun Palace Hotel in Cancun was absolutely wonderful. As you entered the comfortable lounge, a refreshing watermelon or cucumber spritzer in an elegant pilsner shaped glass was placed in your hands. A warm pillow went behind your neck, and little dried fruits or chocolates were on the tables for you to snack on as you listened to the soothing sounds of beautiful spa music. Soon the hostess introduced you to the Spa employee who would be giving you the services you had made the appointment for. You would be escorted to the hair, nail, pedicure or private rooms after you let the technician know your desires. We both got haircuts and treated ourselves to a delicious massage. There were probably 20 employees in the Spa services area, and each of the hairstylists and cosmetologists sent people away much more beautiful, and very pampered indeed.
